Twenty-four rooms and a large two-bedroom suite offer visitors much more than just a hotel room, in a sober, original decor with a distinctive cachet. Our rooms invite our guests to experience and discover contemporary art by Quebec artists living and working in the greater metropolitan area. Original works in a variety of media, including painting, sculpture, photography and even two-dimensional paintings, cover every space in the hotel.

Works by established professional artists rub shoulders with those of up-and-coming young artists who have graduated from fine art schools or universities, have had group and solo exhibitions, have received numerous awards and accolades, and have made their mark in Quebec, Europe and other continents. These are artists with impressive track records, whose inspiring works deserve to be defended for their quality. The diversity of styles and techniques used, such as handmade, traditional know-how, different materials and heterogeneous objects inspired by the passage of time and the elements of nature, provide pondering and food for thought – an approach fitting for contemporary art.

For many years, the involvement of its owner, a lifelong enthusiast of the visual arts with a happy philanthropic temperament, has supported artists in their careers by offering them a somewhat unusual place to showcase their art. She transposes this initiative into her business, serving artists by combining the pleasure of contemplating and discovering different modes of expression through works that adorn the walls and enhance her customers’ stay.
