What are the arrival and departure times?
Arrival is from 3pm.
Departure is until 12pm.
Luggage storage: We can store your luggage on arrival if your room is not ready, and on departure if required.
Do you have a parking space ?
Our parking is free on a “1st come, 1st served” basis. No reservation possible. If the parking lot is full, you can park in front of the hotel free of charge from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. (Monday to Friday), 9 a.m. (Saturday) and 1 p.m. (Sunday). There are also 2 park-and-ride lots close to the hotel ($12 per 24 hours).
Two Level 2($) electric recharging points are also available on the same “1st come, 1st served” basis.
Despite all our efforts to prevent car theft in our establishment (24-hour staff, improved surveillance camera system….), Montreal unfortunately has a very bad reputation when it comes to this scourge. We have therefore decided to be pro-active and provide free steering wheel locks. These are to be installed by customers, and the key to the device is to be handed to reception staff at the same time as the vehicle key. This procedure is voluntary on the part of the customer, and the hotel cannot be held responsible for any theft of the vehicle.
What is pre-authorization?
72 hours before your arrival, we will make a pre-authorization (deduction from your credit card) for the equivalent of one night’s accommodation, taxes included. At the end of your stay, if you wish to pay with this same card, you must have it in your possession. If not, we will “reverse” this pre-authorization and you can pay with a credit, debit or cash card.
What is included in my reservation?
- High-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel
- Self-service breakfast from 6.30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- All-day tea and herbal tea station
How can I cancel my reservation?
If you have booked directly with us, you can cancel free of charge before noon the day before your arrival. If you have booked via a reservation platform (such as Booking.com, Expedia …..), you will be subject to the latter’s reservation policy.
Can I pay for my reservation with cash or debit card?
Yes, but we’ll need a credit card for pre-authorization.
Do you have a restaurant in the hotel?
No, but the hotel is in the heart of the Latin Quarter, which is bursting with restaurants, cafés and microbreweries.
Do you accept pets?
Dogs (only) are welcome. The fee is $25 + tax per night. Additional cleaning charges may apply if your pet causes a nuisance or excessive damage to the room. We accept a maximum of ONE dog per room. Please also note that pets may not be left alone in the room (except during the breakfast period).
Do you have rooms with whirlpool baths?
Yes, they’re easy to find on our website when you book.
Do you have rooms with 2 beds?
Yes, in the ”standard” and ”superior” categories for a maximum of 4 people per room. No extra beds will be added.
What are the rules that I should be aware of ?
Château de l’Argoat Hotel is a 100% non-smoking establishment (tobacco, cannabis and electronic cigarettes), including room balconies.
Parties are not permitted
The use of candles, incense and essential oils (diffuser, vaporizer…) is not permitted.
We ask you to use the equipment and accessories made available to you during your stay with vigilance and diligence.
